Behind the scenes to our Condo project in Paramount Bay

For five months Sire Design has had the opportunity to work in one of the most impacting and innovative, waterfront buildings in the Lavish part of Biscayne known as Paramount Bay. With the cultural Miami feel navigating through The Plaza from the moment you walk in from The PORTE-COCHÈRE, it’s safe to say that Sire Design’s interior designer, Eilyn had a substantial amount of ideas for her new Condo project on the 29th floor.
Since the design process began back in February, Eilyn was faced with the challenge of starting everything from scratch. The condo lacked everything, it had basic wall divisions, the floors were missing, and the kitchen was detailed with nothing but common laminate. The owner of the condo gave Eilyn the opportunity to take on the project with her skillful and unique eye for design and transform it into a luxurious Miami pad while also incorporating the humble sense of abode that every home needed.

Now five months in, the condo is almost unrecognizable. The unit has a natural view of the ocean and the object of visualization is and should always be that view, therefore the idea was to maximize it by diverting the attention towards it. Framing the condo with things such as clean lines, raw shades, and only hints of vibrant colors, optimized the view that welcomed Miami into the unit while also comforting the home with the tranquil colors.

Innovation to a paramount scale was the object of desire for the unit, the owner wanted to feel comfortable while also portraying the Miami lifestyle. How could that be accomplished? Half of the wall division in the master bedroom was torn down and in its place was installed a large piece of ‘Smart Glass.’

Smart glass looks and feels like a regular piece of glass portraying as a window into the master suite, but the neat thing about it, is its ability to turn from clear to opaque with the press of a switch. Therefore, allowing the space to be visualized by all or shielded for ones’ own privacy.

Also innovative, is the counter top in the master bathroom which is a slab of white onyx with incorporated LED lights that make the entire top light up.

Everything in the unit throughout this projects process has been uniquely handpicked and designed using a clean eye and keeping in mind the owners wishes while also adding the Funk-E innovative touch.

In just 2-3 more weeks, the owner of this now lavish space will feel comfortable and cultural in their new water front condo.
